Meet Kerry and Tina, the people behind Proud Properties
Kerry and Tina are the directors and the faces of the business. Kerry leads the holiday home side as Director and Holiday Home Management Services, handling listings, guest communication, presentation and pricing for handpicked holiday homes.
Tina heads the residential side as Director and Property Manager, looking after tenant selection, inspections, compliance and owner relationships. Before buying Proud Properties, Kerry and Tina ran their own B&B and studio accommodation from home for several years, so hospitality and property work is second nature to them.
They moved to Taupō with their children and have put down real roots here. This is not a business run from a distance. They live locally, know the area and treat every owner's property as they would their own.

From small portfolio to a recognised Taupō name
Proud Properties was purchased in 2021. At the time, it was a small business with around 40 long-term rentals and 13 holiday homes. Today, the portfolio comprises more than 100 rental properties and around 36 holiday homes, and almost all of that growth has come through referrals, word of mouth and a reputation built one owner at a time.
Growth has been deliberate. Some properties from the original portfolio are no longer managed because they did not align with the standards set for the business. Saying no to a property is preferred over compromising on the care given to the rest.
